Italy Painting Workshop
September 28th through October 12th of 2009.
I'll be taking about 20 people for painting, excellent food, fine wine
and terrific site seeing.
We'll be staying at Le Casacce just outside of Seggiano. The "Farm-stay" overlooks the Orcia Valley and is situated between the Amiata mountain and the small town of Montalcino (about 15 km away). We will be in the middle of a centuries-old olive park of unbelievable beauty. Its origin goes back to the year 1260 but beginning in the 17th century, it became an important olive-press factory. Only since the 90's of the last century has it been completely restructured, with full respect for the old structures. Olive oil is still pressed from the typical olive fruit of Seggiano. There will be an opportunity for culinary instruction, to those who are interested, offered by Chef Enrico Casini (additional fees will apply).

There are several people signed up already. We are maintaining a list and it's first come, first served. Since there is a limited number of people that we will be able to take, get your name on the list. Any cancellations will move everyone up on the list. We have about a year before going, but don't wait!
