Itinerary

Arrive Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Rome Airport.

Depart Saturday, October 10, 2009 from Rome Airport.

Sunday, Sept. 27, is a "jet lag" rest day where you are free to do some casual sight seeing on your own.

Throughout our time there, we will take day trips to places like Pienza, Montpulciano and Castel del Piano. There will also be full day visits to Siena and Assisi.

During our stay, we will be based in Le Casacce near Seggiano, Italy. We are working in conjunction with Bill Sperling of Magic Palette & Skillet Workshops for our accommodations and travels.

Le Casacce is overlooking the Orcia Valley and is situated between the Amiata mountain and the small town of Montalcino (about 15 km away), in the middle of a centuries-old olive park of unbelievable beauty. Please use this link to Le Casacce for more information.
Here you can view the accommodations where we will be staying and learn of the extraordinary amenities.

Also, please visit Bill Sperling's wonderful website at www.magicpalette-skilletworkshops.com. Here you can get more information and travel tips.

Apartments at the Farm are distributed in the different farmhouses of the estate, among the olive trees and lawns. They are all elegantly furnished in the typical rustic Tuscany style and equipped with chimney, independent heating, telephone, satellity TV and dishwasher.
