Monday, Sep. 16 is a "jet lag" rest day where you are free to do some casual sight seeing on your own.
Throughout our time there, we will take day trips to places like Pienza, Montepulciano and Castel del Piano. There will also be full day visits to Siena and Assisi.
During our stay, we will be based in Le Casacce near Seggiano, Italy. We are working in conjunction with Bill Sterling of Magic Palette & Skillet Workshops for our accommodations and travels.
Le Casacce is overlooking the Orcla Valley and is situated between the Amiata mountain and the small town of Montalcino (about 15 km away), in the middle of a centuries-old olive park of unbelievable beauty.
